loo10 Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Get Linc a heron suit and sit him on top of the dock with a fine Bass Pro Shop pellet gun. WebFreeman Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 The gas was straight- we run 4-strokes. Haven't bothered guests boats fortunately. We'll get 'em... we're up for the challenge. Does the web cam save images on the server. Members moonshiner1980 Posted August 4, 2006 Members Posted August 4, 2006 trank darts arn't that expensive you know, think how the robber would feel being stung and waking up to a cop. Love the sniper idea lol i would even volentier if I wasn't going on the road for 3 weeks. Fight the good fight.
gonefishin Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Coukld rig up some Tazers in your boats. Someone picks up a gas tank and zap. I would rather be fishin'. MTM Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 I had fuel taken from my truck's tank twice. The local police said that kids were doing it. Seem's they just don't have the money to do there curzing around so they are stealing the gas from car's and truck's around here. I got two locking gas caps just last week. No problems now. I live on the edge of town so there are not many people to watch out up here. You have to watch what you do to anyone now days even if they are stealing from you. Lawyer's you know. Ron
97procraft Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Hey Phil, put your web cam up down at the dock and let all of us see who is stealing your stuff.
vonreed Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 You'd think that rather than going out in the wee hours of night to steal gas they'd just get a job! That seems like a lot less hassle to me.
Members flip4bass Posted August 4, 2006 Members Posted August 4, 2006 I actually bet they do have a job. What are the thought about how they were stollen? I'm guessing they just pulled up in a boat. You know a cheap solution that could help would be to put up motion lights around the dock. They couldn't be too hard to install. Just turn them on when no one is on the docks so they don't keep going off during normal fishing hours at night. I'm sure that night fisherman going by in boats wouldn't like that but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. It may make theives think twice about their potential prize when a light comes on and exposes them to the world.
Don Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 If one was the vengeful type. A decoy tank filled with gas and alot of sugar would immobilize the thieves at some point in time. Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
