Since upgrading to Internet Explorer 9 the drop down in the upper right hand corner is no longer functioning properly. When clicked it goes straight to my profile, it drops down for a second and goes straight to my profile. I cannot access "my messages" or anything else on the drop down list. It worked prior to the IE9 upgrade.

Just a heads up.

I had the same problem. Also had problems getting back to the previous page with the back button.

I deleted IE9 and went back to IE8. Just delete IE9 and IE8 will be there.

Can't say what's gonna happen with new computers that come with IE9 though. Might end up getting stuck with a bunch of problems until MS gets their act together and puts out a patch.

Use Firefox and you won't have to worry about those problems.

Firefox has it's own problems.

I've had problems with FF reading the code on the webpage and it wouldn't open the page. I won't go back to FF.

I've had far fewer problems since I switched to Firefox from Explorer. The folks at smugmug.com convinced me to try it a few years back when I was having issues. Never went back, and I run it on my Mac instead of Safari now. The IT guys here at work gave me the green light to use it here too.

Chrome runs it fairly fast and with errors. I do like firefox and primarily run it most of the time.

I have run Firefox since the first version after Netscape and have never looked back. I use Thunderbird as an email client at home with great success also. There are some sites that Firefox has problems with the code on, but Ozarkanglers.com has never gave me any problems. On mobile devices, I run Opera Mobile and I use Opera on certain sites that "require" you to run IE only, it never seems to make a difference with it. Those sites always choke on Firefox.

I had a few problems too. I finally figured out how to use the " Compatibility View Settings". Click on tools on your brouser window. It allows you to choose the website that you are on or choose all. I chose all. It seems to work pretty good.

If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

I am no longer having the problem with the drop down menu, functioning fine now. Installed Windows 7 service pack one and it has worked fine since then, not sure if that was the fix or if the admin did something.
