fishinwrench Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Pull up google earth and take a look at the water within paddling/dragging distance from Muleshoe. There's some deep holes there and they hold some nice smallies... "Nice" is anything over 13" on the LN though, regardless of the stretch your fishing. There are several heron rookerys along the. LN river...those bastages make some pretty spooky sounds too.
drew03cmc Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 The Little Niangua is a favorite of mine. The upper section is prime wading water, but you are right, in many places you cross over or through extremely shallow water. The float from Cedar Camp downstream has great water to fish and float. Andy
