Flysmallie Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 You dillholes planning a September fling or something? Wanna share with the rest of the class? If I told everyone then jerks like you would show up.
eric1978 Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 I tell you what, you boys find the reseach that supports the theory that smallmouth are being harvested beyond the means that the stream supports and we will take this a step further. Until then there is no reason to change the regs that support the trophy hunters and the meat hunters and those like me that just like to fish. Implementing new regs would be the only way to actually do that research. If the regs are changed and enforced and there is no difference in fish populations after, say, ten years or so, then we will have conclusive data and we can go back to raping the rivers. We gotta try it first before we'll know whether or not it works.
FishinCricket Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 If I told everyone then jerks like you would show up. What fun would the tug-o-war challenge be without jerks like me? Fine then... I hope you all run out of food and they decide to eat you!! cricket.c21.com
Chief Grey Bear Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 I know I would! Let's plan a trip in the fall. Its a date! Implementing new regs would be the only way to actually do that research. We gotta try it first before we'll know whether or not it works. You are aware that the MDC does electroshocking and they do have records of previous shocking to compare with to determine whether or not populations are being affected??? Then we could go over the results of the "White Paper" again if need be. If the rivers were being raped as you claim, Mr. Beck, or Glen if I may, then the MDC would have shut down smallmouth bass fishing. But it appears as if the exact opposite is in effect. I thought this was an "above-the-belt" debate/discussion? Yeah, I hear they stocked 11,000 browns in the Niangua a few years ago... They wrote down that they did, why would they lie? :double_wink: cricket.c21.com
