Flysmallie Posted January 24, 2012 Author Posted January 24, 2012 Where do you get your cylinders from, or do you cut your own? Those were probably bought years ago at Backcountry Outfitters, but you can get them at just about any flyshop or online.
BackCastingGolfer Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I just ordered some, was at bass pro this morning and all they had were tiny ones, didn't have time to make it to Backcountry so I looked and found some online.
troutbum479 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I think Tim may have some of the foam cylinders at his shop. arkmoflyfishing.blogspot.com http://okietroutbum.blogspot.com/
BackCastingGolfer Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 I don't know when the next time I'm gonna be down there. It might be awhile, once the season starts I avoid RR like the plague for a while. I ordered some online today though.
BackCastingGolfer Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Added a little to it, just another piece of fuzzy foam on top and colored with a marker.
Flysmallie Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Looks good. Now let's see it in a fish's mouth.
esox niger Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Ever tried this one upside down? not sure it would work but might be handy if it did Missouriflies.com Online Carp Fly Store
Wayne SW/MO Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I know you have probably told me Ronnie, but what's the diameter of the foam cylinder? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
