Micheal Kyle Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Fishing has been great lots of numbers and good fat healthy rainbows. Starting to see a few more browns being caught at night. We have been putting the boat in around 10-11pm and fishing down to Point Royale, fishing till 4am on most nights. The bigger fish are cursing the banks at night and since we have been taking the boat at night we can slam the banks with streamers and catch the fish that a person would normally be flushing away by wading. Stripping big articulated mohair leeches, with no moon blood red and ace of spades have been our most productive colors. Water is in great condition and has been clearing up a lot over the past few weeks. If I knew how to up load pics from iPhone to here I would show pics of a few nice fish and the articulated leech, my main computer crashed. I have been catching mine in the 3rd raceway from the upper parking lot. The biggest challenge is casting under that dang old netting they installed.

snagged in outlet 3 Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Yeah I know Rick. I have family and I like to catch up on sleep while on vavation. I learned to pick around the edges years ago. Not all the fish are in rebar or the outlets. Pete
