I'm excited. I checked out there website and it looks like they have good prices and carry some brands that Bass Pro an MC Sports don't have. Evolution Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 I enjoy using their line of H2O Express bait, especially their poppers. Last time around, had to order them since the Joplin store was out of commission and didn't want to drive to Arkansas. Their firearms are well priced too, compared to other big name stores.

jeb Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I doubt you'll be overly impressed by Academy, at least from a fisherman's POV. We've had one here in Rogers now for a couple of years now, I guess. Rare that I go in there anymore. Limited selection of baits and tackle, very little high end stuff at all, not very many sale prices, etc. I'd much rather drive to BPS in Springfield. But their H20 line of lures have some decent choices and are very reasonable compared to the high end lures they copied. Work well, too.
