Fished from Big M to mouth of Kings, had 23 on Chrome colored Spook Juniors and 3 on drop shot. Top water action was from 6:45 till 8 and then someone threw the switch. Had to work hard for the drop shotters. Off at 11:30. Duck

Excellent morning. We started about the time your topwater bite quit. They are abit fussy on the dropshot. Early is the key, on the bright days. Got to be on the points by 6 or 6:30 at the latest.

Bankers and Doctor's hours will get you in trouble on the rock, as the bottom and dropshot bite is pretty iffy, unless you get a good condition, like it is out there today.

Would like to be out this morning but need to get ready for trip to Sturgeon Bay, Wi. for some smallie fishing. Anyone have any tips for us? Duck.

nitro nick and I fished Saturday morning from 4:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. we only caught 3 before daylight on a tube on bluffs. We caught another 51 on topwater. Had a few on buzzbait right at daylight all the rest on spook jr. and chug bug. We caught about 20 on tw beating the bank and then they started schooling out in the middle. We were fishing between Owl Creek and Eagle Rock. We only had 6 keepers all off the bank, not schooling. Biggest was about a 17inch spot. All spots and large mouth, no smallies, and also had 1 white.

I see how it is - get a little shoulder injury and that's when the top water bite starts.

Seriously, rotator cuff damage on my rod arm makes even the thought of spooking painful. The doc plunged steroids in the joint and wants me to rehab for 3 weeks before he sends me to the shoulder cutter for a MRI and decision. If the rehab does not work I'm guessing I'll need a fix. I suspect some of you have had the same problem. How long did it take for the pain to go away and the strength and flexibility to come back?

Did this happen from fishing? I was at kentucky lake two years ago throwing dd 22's, I casted maximum distance for 6 days straight, on the day of the tournament my shoulder hurt so bad i could hardley do anything. I never went to the doc, still bothers me a bit. But the pain was steady for like 6 months. Guess it kinda healed it self who knows lol.....
