Most of the party jetboaters (a very common species on the Current) are gone, and the rest are gigging at night. You'll still see a few serious bass anglers. As for winter, the Current may be one of the better winter fishing streams in the Ozarks, due to the volume of spring water that feeds it. It just doesn't get quite as cold as most streams.
