Gavin Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 George makes some great stuff and he's a darn good fly fisherman and fly tyer...........TV Tyer, custom cabinets....if its made of wood...George will build it and it will exceed your expectations....
eric1978 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Considering the cost of lumber these days, his prices aren't that bad. I plan to build my own fancy custom bench one day, but for now my basement mancave will do.
Gavin Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Looks like a good start...kinda small, and it doesnt look like you use it much...ditch the carpet...12 string on the wall? We oughta get together with Cricket & play sometime.
Flysmallie Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 and it doesnt look like you use it much.. He doesn't. Eric have you even tied a fly since you set it all up??
eric1978 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 He doesn't. Eric have you even tied a fly since you set it all up?? Nope, it's been nearly 10 months in fact. Got lots of other projects going right now...just been too busy. I wouldn't have the time to go fishing even if my boxes were full. I'll be back this winter. Yeah Gavin, I just set up the cave this summer, so the place still isn't broken in completely. I'm not a huge fan of oriental rugs, either. But it's either that or concrete floor, so it stays. The bench looks small, but it's more than sufficient if I keep it tidy. Oh, and lately I play that Martin about as often as I tie flies.

Justin Spencer Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Eric I wish mine looked that organized, I spend more time locating my stuff than tying (even though it's right in front of me). Yeah, like I said, I'd just moved into that area when I took that pic. Never again will it look that clean...all downhill from here.
timsfly Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I organize mine once or twice a year, I think I'm about ready to do a fall cleaning This is one of my TV tyers a bit messy but I like it that way Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop
