Martin, like you, I'm not going to look up the exact regulation. I'm pretty sure, though, that Missouri law specifies a maximum of "three hooks per pole" with any hooks that are attached to one artificial lure considered to be just one hook.

If that's right, then the legality of the Alabama Rig would depend on whether the whole thing is ONE LURE or a bunch of 'em, and I surely don't know. I guess the MDC would have to decide that, backed up by somebody in a black robe.

I saw one of these tonight as a matter of fact. Chris at Hook Line and Sinker Rogers just recieved one today to try out. The same guy makes umbrella rigs for Striper fishin. He says you can thow it all day amd not get it tangled up. It was already rigged up an he said it felt like it was about an ounce. This reminds me of when those Basstrix Hollow belly swimbaits came out.
