timsfly Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 some info from the hatchery, you might find interesting "Hey Tim, we are going to stock 1100 fish this week and then 350 every other week after that for the whole season. We are putting in 100 lunkers also. We are going to put about 500 extra fish in the c&r. The rain didn't do much for the spring yet but I think if we get some tonight it will help out alot."(quote) River is still low and clear, but the rain should help. sfiser Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 it sounds like by reading the part of the link below where it talks about catch and release that zone 3 is open to it from "the old dam to the bridge" just not open to "bait fishing". I put the link to the roaring river info sheet below. Any clarification on this Tim? "the area open to winter fishing is from the hatchery to the bridge below the old dam in the lower campground" http://mdc4.mdc.mo.gov/Documents/12616.pdf
