nxs Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Can someone tell me how the ramps are at Beaver Creek and River Run. From the pics that Lilley put up of Swan Creek looked like River Run was ok to use but was wondering how Beaver was? Thanks!!
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 12, 2011 Root Admin Posted December 12, 2011 The ramps should be prefect seeing the lake is close to power pool.
nxs Posted December 12, 2011 Author Posted December 12, 2011 I was thinking they probably were. We usually go to Beaver Creek and didn't know if it was trashed up with all the high water and if the dock was still there. Hopefully we can get down this week. Thanks!!
duckydoty Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Beaver is in good shape. Been using it all last week. A little mud on the left hand side and the courtesy dock is about 6 inches under water, but everything else is in great shape. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! nxs Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 thanks I appreciate it. My partner can't swim so the dock might be a problem.
Dutch Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Pick him up at the dock store. He will have a bit of a walk but dry feet.
nxs Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 Well trip got canceled for a few days maybe this weekend. Dutch you been doing any fish'n around Beaver Creek lately?
Dutch Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 No sir. I haven't been there in nearly a year. I'm spending my time catching crappie at Stockton. I may start going down that way if the water gets hard up north or when the scouts start to show up around K and Snapp, but that will prolly be a month or two.
nxs Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 I thought we could catch crappie on Stockton most of the time but the last few trips we got sent home with our tails tucked. Usually when the water gets this low it was no problem but sure different this year for us anyway.
