Brian Wise Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Hey guys, I had been only posting the seasonal videos on the NFOW forum but had some requests to put it here too....so here you go. I'm not going to lie, the "busy" part of fall was pretty lackluster. The water was low and CRAZY clear, fishing was Ok but nothing to write home about. Post-spawn fishing has been really, really good though. Couple hungry, post-spawn fish with great water and you have a recipe for disaster.....a GREAT disaster. Winter is looking phenominal, period. Here you go guys, I hope you like it! Brian My Youtube Channel
stlfisher Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Nice work. Especially like the footage of the trout jumping the falls. Very cool.
LittleRedFisherman Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Awesome video, I've seen some of your other vids, they are all awesome. Great editing, and awesome fishing!! Get a kick out of the kid with all the skills, that's awesome. There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!

eric1978 Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Great footage and editing as usual, Brian. But I can't like "Time" on ecstasy...you mess around with a song like that, you're only gonna roll downhill. Can't improve perfection.
KCRIVERRAT Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Brian, having the kids with ya is priceless. I enjoy all your videos because it puts me right there. Sooner or later there's gonna be an acoustic version of the Foo Fighters "Walk" and "Rope". But why wait? HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
Brian Wise Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 Brian, having the kids with ya is priceless. I enjoy all your videos because it puts me right there. Sooner or later there's gonna be an acoustic version of the Foo Fighters "Walk" and "Rope". But why wait? Thanks! I am such a crazy Foo Fighters fan, have almost used "Pretender" more than once. It's kind of funny, I very rarely use music in the videos that I actually listen to....not really sure why. There has been a little Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and I'm sure something else but VERY rare. I guess I have a certain style I edit in and the music I listen to I just can't get "in" to editing into the movement of a video. It's horrible, when I watch television and hear a commercial the first thing I hear is the music and think "That would be an awesome song for a video!!" Lets put it this way, the Shazam app on my phone has probably been the biggest tool I use for videos. My Youtube Channel
MOsmallies Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 You continue to impress me with these videos and I think it's awesome that your kid has such great skills at a young age and really enjoys fishing with his dad. Now we just need to get someone on this board to put together some smallie fishing videos as well. Thanks for sharing!
Mitch f Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Here is a clip my brother and I filmed while fishing in my boat...I hooked this fish and then handed the rod to my brothers son to reel it in. As you can see, he needs a little more instruction on the proper handling of a fish! ha ha. He is a brainiac kid who scored a 30 on his ACT test when he was 13 years old. He hasn't quite developed the enthusiasm for fishing but that's ok. He is a great kid and is fun to do things with him and watch him experience the outdoors. This video doesnt quite rival NFOW 2011 video, I'm not David Lean "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Gavin Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Looks like a nice time with your nephew! Liked the vid of your pet crawfish too....I'll take 3 dozen!
