Members Tom Tricamo Posted January 18, 2012 Members Posted January 18, 2012 Phil - I used to be able to access the forum via Tapatalk on my Iphone (this service is also available for Android phones). I'm not able to do this since the rollover. Any chance this functionality will return? For those of you who like to check the forum on the go, Tapatalk was very, very, very easy to use. Thanks, Tom Tricamo
Members burninworm Posted January 18, 2012 Members Posted January 18, 2012 Phil, the new site looks great, you'll work out any kinks I'm sure. Thanks for all the hard work. tight lines! Burninworm

Goggle-Eyed Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Phil, I am living in China right now and the new forum is working great. Not sure why but the Chinese Goverment had blocked Ozark Anglers Forum so I had to log in using a VPN Proxy but with the upgrades I can now log in with no issues. It is funny though when you see the banner ads at the top of the home page advertising in Chinese! Thanks for keeping this forum going it is one of my only connections to fishing since I don't get to do much of it in China. I can however buy a LM Bass at the local grocery store!!! I guess I am going to have to bring my fly rod over and try carp fishing on the fly! Joe
Goggle-Eyed Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Geuss I should have kept my stupid fingers quiet. The forum section of OAF if now a "forbidden" site in here in this fine country. I can still access the main site but as soon as I try to open the forum I get the "warning" page from the Chin@ Firewa11. I can still VPN/proxy through and get on, it's just a pain because I have to log on through a couple of accounts and then reenter my OAF information everytime. Anyway, that's life behind the Great Wa11 (Fire-Wall) that is!!! Joe
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 27, 2012 Author Root Admin Posted January 27, 2012 Wow- how blessed we are! Be safe over there.
DaddyO Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Phil, One thing that I have noticed is that I used to be able to click on a topic and go straight to the next post that I hadn't already read. Now, when I click on a topic, it goes to the first post every time. This really slows down the process. Is the fix just a setting that I have missed? Click on either the lil blue folder (or similar icon, for instance it will be a star if you've even commented on that thread before) to the left of the topic.... or (if there is no "new" content in the thread and the star or folder is not highlighted in dark blue) you can also click on the spot when it tells you what TIME AND DATE the last post was made on the far right side of the listing... cricket.c21.com
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 27, 2012 Author Root Admin Posted January 27, 2012 The new version gives you alot more options... just have to find the right one.
