Iclass Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 I keep seeing the argument that because we're against the a-rig because we're scared. That is the lamest argument I have ever heard. This won't change who is at the top of the leader board in fact it is going to seperate the guides and pro's farther from weekenders. They are n bigger schools of fish consistently it shines offshore where you better have the time to practice idle around for days looking at the graph to find the right schools. 20 pounds is gonna feel great until you get to weigh in and figure out its gonna take 28 to win and 22 to cash. So why ban it?
Iclass Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 I found a few more, The Spokane Times is reporting this morning that the Alabama Rig is a gift from Aliens to further improve the Human race (Or the ones that Bass Fish anyway). Bass Fishermen across the US have ban togather to form a new political party, the BASS Party will use the ALABAMA RIG as a write in candidate for President. Political Analyst's agree the Alabama will win the election by a land slide. Superman now has 2 forms to rob him of his powers, Kriptonite, and the Alabama Rig. The Federal Government is replacing the gold reserves in Fort Knox with Alabama Rigs. Please contact www.goldforfree to recieve your free bar of worthless gold. A Man in Califorina has asked the Alabama Rig for it's wires in Marriage, no word yet if the Alabama Rig accepted. A woman in Springfield MO. has filed divorce papers after she caught her husband having an affair with an Alabama Rig. A woman in Reeds Spring MO has filed for full custody for an Alabama Rig, claiming her Ex has repeatedly tried to drown the Rig. New reports seem to be coming out every minute about the Alabama Rig. Please post any News you may find concerning the Alabama Rig. Awesome, quite possibly the greatest two posts ever
cullinby9 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 So why ban it? because its multiple baits thought we established why I'm against it
Sprint21fter Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 If you look at the last Winter Series tournament its is the top guys that are always on fish and if you had 24 lbs you didn't get a check. I think the lake is just fishing so good right now due to the mild winter that the fish are shallower than normal and the weather is stable so they are not going anywhere. We will have an earlier spawn if the weather stays mild after this weekend. Also, I think this March we be even better as far as consistant weights in tournaments if the weather warms a little bit. The everstart, bfls, FLW tour will be hitting the lake at the perfect time it will blow our mind. Enjoy the moment throw the A-rig or not and have some fun.
cullinby9 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 because its multiple baits thought we established why I'm against it It doesn't matter how I feel about the rig after two weeks of post's on here and 800 signatures on the petition flw is going to allow it bass is going to allow it on the levels I fish. Whether I like it or not its getting close enough now that its time to start getting busy with the rig.
cullinby9 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I'm developing a new rig, you just cast it out let it sink and it scares the fish so bad they jump in the boat to escape; It's called Chuck Norris!
riverfish Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 i been reading this and i figured i would throw my two cents im not necessarily against the rig for fun fishing its actually a great way to get young people interested in our sport simply because its so easy to catch fish on it and lots of them but i have thrown this rig quite a bit and im already tired of throwing simply because i do not feel myself growing and getting better as a fisherman and i think thats why the elites banned the rig from their tourney because their is almost no thought ,insticts, or growth involved in this bait (for me) you just cast it out and reel it in. i just think that i would lose interest in 'the best fisherman in the world' if all they did was throw this rig all over the country and blow out weights where 125 anglers had 20 plus pounds a day and the back of the pack was only 2 lb behind first place where would the excitment be. for me thier just wouldnt be any. for me i actually like to think that some days i am smarter than a fish and when im catching them on this rig i just dont feel that way

Usually I have to look for the right areas, depth, lure sizes, structure...
Iclass Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 because its multiple baits thought we established why I'm against it So you have never used more than one lure at a time? No double fluke, no jig as a sinker for drop shot/ c-rig... ect?
