Jack Jones Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I am lukewarm to the t-shirt idea simply because I would probably forget to wear it. The pin I could put on my vest or attached to my waders. A hat is okay. Personally, I'm not a big ball cap wearer. All that said, I propose we set up a polling thread on those three ideas, or a fourth choice of none. Then let the voting go for a week or so, and explore further pending the results. DaddyO Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I concur with Jack. DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.
Al Agnew Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Yep, a pin or maybe a hat would be most likely to actually be worn whenever you go fishing, and even the hat might not. Personally, while I own and wear several ball caps (including some with my own smallmouth bass design on them), I prefer to wear a wide brimmed hat while fishing since it keeps my ears from being sunburned. But I'd put a pin on my favorite fishing hat and another one on my fly pack, probably. T shirts are nice but would not serve to ID members on the water, either because you didn't wear the shirt that day, it was too cold to wear a t shirt, or the shirt was under a jacket.

Addicted to Creeks Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 i like pin, i dont like any hat but a fitted anymore and already have a pretty solid fishing hat Fish always lose by being "got in and dressed." It is best to weigh them while they are in the water. The only really large one I ever caught got away with my leader when I first struck him. He weighed ten pounds. —Charles Dudley Warner
