Last Day Savored

Hunted this morning with Michael Kyle and another buddy on Table Rock. Last day of the season so we hunted the spot that did the best all season long. We were not disappointed. Had a few groups of birds work us real good and all 3 of us found ourselves just watching and calling rather than shooting. I guess it was the desire to see them work and cup just one more pass. I think this happened on three different groups of birds today. Good way to end the season and I was very pleased with the bird activity. Time to start fishing again

Way to go out Duane. Nice to know you must be feeling better.

Had a great time Duane, glad we made it out for some action. I have to say I do wish at times we would have shot at those groups but I am always haunted by what an old wise man once told me while on a duck hunt " son any man can shoot at passing ducks and get lucky or make a great shot how ever it takes a real duck hunter to actually fool the ducks and make them land". Had a great time now it is on to fishing if the weather will hold and stay mild I see some early day success in our near future:)
