Iclass Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Cull, how 'bout if only ONE hook was use in the rig.... 4 dummies/spinners. Would that fit your criterias of sporting/conserving?
snakem Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 get a life, its legal and fun to catch fish on.
dtrs5kprs Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Cull, how 'bout if only ONE hook was use in the rig.... 4 dummies/spinners. Would that fit your criterias of sporting/conserving? I was doing some research on the saltwater originals, and ran across some that were set up that way. Some were even wilder, as in a circle of teasers, usually big shad baits, around a center frame with a long following swimbait with the only hook. Some of those are using circle hooks to comply with salt regs and address conservation. Also some using screw-locks to screw on the teasers, so there could be no question as to whether a clipped hook constitutes a hook or not.
Cajunangler Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Sounds like a good day ( or few hours) on the water. I am curious and wanted to know if anyone fishing these rigs on Table Rock felt like they were getting bites but not hooking up due to fish hiiting the lures without the hook? Or if there was a good way to select which lures to have hookless to prevent that from happening. Thanks.
