Sprint21fter Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Cajun I have had fish hit my hookless baits a fews times every time I have used it throughout the day. When I hook a fish it is hooked most of the time with the middle bait. The teeth marks on my hookless baits shows the proof but for the most part they go after the middle one.
snakem Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 most of my bites have been on the bottom 2
Champ188 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 No, Sore Thumbs, haven't put my boat on Craigslist yet but may be doing so very soon. Getting the itch to make a change. Be happy to let you know when it goes up for sale.
Sore Thumbs Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Looked like yours. I was positive it was yours. You goin Champ again?
Champ188 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Sore Thumbs, I'm lookin' hard at the Nitro Z8. It fits in my garage, fishes real nice and kinda got the urge for one more go-fast rig before I get TOO old for one. Darn Z8 will flat-out fly with a 250. I putt around 40 mph or less 98% of the time but when you're making a long run in a derby it sure is nice to be able to put miles behind you faster than I can in the Champ.
edwin Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Fixing to be a great time of the year to upgrade to a new rig...hope the Z8 works out for you. I have a great friend in TX that has an older 929. What a nice boat to fish from. More storage room than you could ever want, huge decks front and back, comfortable seating, etc. Nice rig for sure... "Advantages are taken, not handed out"
