MoSportsmen Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 I know, I was really just putting it out there. Some folks are not going to get it and then they should just get ignored. Tom Messing about in boats
Trout Commander Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 darn some Ramen noodles! Who could live on that crap? Obviously people with that sentiment are not that bad off. For the last 3+ months I have sacrificed my lunch 4 of 5 days a week eating ramen noodles instead of more expensive food from the store or even more expensive take out food. The only exception being the occasional left overs that were already paid for. This was only to help support my fly fishing habit, not to keep from starving. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack
ozark trout fisher Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Instead of changing the subject take em and introduce them to the concept of self control and why we need to protect smallmouth more than some other fish. I am guilty myself of not speeking up to a friend or aquantice. There is nothing wrong with being ignorant. Ignorance is the lack of knowledge, stupidity is ignoring education. Once we have determined someone is stupid then we can give up trying to teach them anything. Tom +1

I haven't studied the nutrition facts of Ramen but I'm thinking that a peanut butter sandwich would keep you alive longer, and can't cost much more.

That sounds like work and getting up early. But, thanks for furthering the point about more economical eats. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted.
