DaddyO Posted March 5, 2012 Author Posted March 5, 2012 DaddyO, Did any of the flies from the swap work...besides yours. No. However, in truth, I wasn't in any situations where I would've selected the other swap flies. I intended to try your Wulf's but I didn't see any riffle water that looked productive. JCWolfe Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 What a great trip, glad you didn't take the spinning gear and you had wadable water. Okiemountaineer
dgames Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Wow, sounds like you tore em up. Did you get any cutts or brookies?
DaddyO Posted March 6, 2012 Author Posted March 6, 2012 Wow, sounds like you tore em up. Did you get any cutts or brookies? Yes. I caught a couple of Brookies right below the dam at Bull Shoals. They were small. I caught a Cut-Bow at Norfork and I caught a Rainbow that had fins marked like a Brook Trout. They weren't just white tipped. The fins were white tipped with the black line right behind it. I should've taken a picture of it. DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.
