Guest Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 There's a rumor floating around that a state record largemouth was caught from Lake Dunn yesterday morning. I was sent this photo, but cant confirm if its the real deal or not. Its supposed to weigh 16lbs 5ozs, which would break the record by 1oz. (or Tie) Wait and see if this is a hoax or not.
Quillback Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Cool, if true that's a heck of a bass. Never heard of lake Dunn.
OzarksRiverman Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 It's a little lake over by Wynne & Forrest City.
FishinCricket Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Wonder if the guy was using an A-rig? (see how I just started that rumor there? ) cricket.c21.com
Gavin Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Dats a biggun...record or not. Florida Strain?

Quillback Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 The story in that link says he caught it on a Mann's Jelly worm in Tequila, story in yesterday's Democrat Gazette says it was a black, 6" Culprit worm. A couple of different stories on how it was caught depending on the news source.

eric1978 Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 The story in that link says he caught it on a Mann's Jelly worm in Tequila You sure this isn't 1985?
Quillback Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 He probably did catch it on an A-rig - he just didn't want to let the secret out so he changed his story to the worm (manufacturer yet to be determined).
