MOPanfisher Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 All: Below is the latest forecast for Pomme's outflow and lake level. The reason we are having to release heavy and then shut down is that we have a periodic inspection schedule for the first week in April, the lake must be below 844 and have have a little freeboard so we can work at the control tower. During the inspection all outflows must be shut down to zero so we can enter the outlet structure by boat. The upshot of all that is, the lake will be falling pretty good for a week or so and then if the math is correct stabilize or rise slowly at about 841. All this is assuming that mother nature doesn't take a major hand and toss us a big storm!! Dutch Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 I'd like to find it 3-4' over pool when I get there in mid April if you don't mind. Thanks for the forcast.
MOPanfisher Posted March 28, 2012 Author Posted March 28, 2012 Unless we get some more rainstorms it ain't gonna happen. Likely will be sitting around 841 without rain.
oneshot Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Did they slow down Sunday? Seemed the river dropped several feet or is Truman drawing down more? oneshot
MOPanfisher Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 We began shutting down on Friday at 1:00 p.m. By 4:00 p.m. we were only releasing 100 CFS. Saturday it dropped to 50, and sunday to 25, today it will drop to 10 and tehn 0 until Thursday or Friday.
Dutch Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 So if there is no additional rain and you shut down the dam, how much will the lake normally rise each day from water coming in from the Pom and Lindley?
