BilletHead
I need to get rid of some of my less used watercraft. First is a Mad River fiberglass canoe. Always stored in a garage and in great shape. 14' ,Ash trim and gunnels. With it comes two paddles and two nice high back strap on canoe seats. It is a real stable craft. Origional gel coat color is green but I did a spray paint camo job to it. I will deliver to Springfield. Pictures of the craft. mic
Stupid IL rules... Do you still have any of the original purchase documentation... From IDNR: National Vessel Documentation Center A watercraft which has a valid marine document issued by the United States Coast Guard, National Vessel Documentation Center, is required to be registered (not titled) in Illinois if used upon the waters of this State for more than 60 days in any calendar year. BilletHead
Do not have the origional sales receipt. I am the only owner. Did not title because not going to use a motor. All I could do would be a bill of sale. Have had a trolling motor which moved it well, a 3hp gas worked well also:) BilletHead "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" mic
Thanks, I'm very interested, but I have to do some serious begging of the wife. I'll let you know. Do you know how much the canoe weighs?
BilletHead
I am not sure on the weight Mic. I know I used to stand it on end, put the center seat on my shoulders and portage it from truck to water no problem.
