Anybody have a water clarity update on the Rock? Please list the location you were at. Thanks for the help. Going fishing this weekend and trying to find some cleaner water.

Focusing on Aunts Creek down to Brushy.

Only fished the Indian Point area and it was far from clear...reddish brown tea colored but the fish didn't care

I agree with T4FISH.......don't let the dirty water of the main lake area to bother you, it sure hasn't bothered the fish. They are there for the taking on basically all of the standard late spring tactics, jig, shaky, grub (not sure why due to water color) but its working, and lots of spinner bait reports. Definately lots of fish for the taking. Early and late are best.

Cow Creek is the same.....Dirty brown/red ick. Glad the fish don't care per above posts. I haven't been out at all but hope to fix that soon. Maybe even tomorrow. The fish (bass and bluegill) sure abandoned the dock I have a slip in. I've seen it this dirty, but it seems like it's staying longer then usual...Might just be me though. I didn't dig out any written notes by me.

Guys next door @ schooner ran to Kings today. Said clearer there. Stayed around 13 myself. Clearer on the upriver side of bridge. Just in time for more rain...

Has there been alot of rain at TRL ? I have not been there since March & looks like we cant get back until May. I assume the water in Big Indian to Baxter is the same color as the rest of the creeks.

Been fishing around Indian Pt and doing quite well, but I gotta ask.....I've never seen tea/coffee water down there before, nor discolored for this length of time. It's got nothing to do with rain, its tannic like you see in the everglades. Also what is that stringy weed that you blunder into, not talking about the snot but stringy tough strands that won't pop off with a smack down.....
