If your spot is the docks of Alhonna Resort I was there last weekend and caught and released quite a few crappies and a couple bass on minnows suspended 3 feet under a bobber. The water level was around 657 (three feet low) and pretty dingy. The fish I caught were shallow under the dock cables and sometimes the bobber had to sit 15 seconds with little twitches of the rod before they'd hit it. In my experience if the temperatures are stable and warm jigs are more efficient. Some of the males were very darkly colored and they looked awesome but I didn't keep any

The Alhonna is where I will be. Which dock(s) were you fishing from and what time of day was the bite best? I tend have more luck off the very first dock to the left of the fish house but also do really well in the house on the far left hand corner as your walking in. Have also had success fishing the dock where they have all their rental toons moored up.Have always used mostly jigs but I will have a full arsenal with me on this trip. Thanks for the info and any more updates I can get rom everyone will be greatly appreciated. Also thanks to all who have posted info on this. Nice to know us fellow fisherman have each others back and help each other all we can to ensure everyone has some success.Good luck to all and good fishing the rest of the year(I hope!!!! lol!). Be safe out there.

I've only been down once this year. Between that trip and what most people are saying about the tough/weird conditions this year I've decided to go north to MT where at least I know the spawn hasn't really got going yet. Loz is just gonna have to settle into more of a normal pattern before I can justify spending the gas money to come back again for a little while.

The bite was outrageous yesterday apparently. I was stuck working but some guys I know loaded up on some really nice crappie ahead of this front.

Probably sucks today with all the thunder and lightning.
