I know it's just me, but I have never understood how standing with a hundred other people fishing the same hole is any fun!! I just don't get it!!

That's why March 1st is the best day of the year to fish a secluded blue ribbon stream well away from the parks...You know you'll have it all to yourself:)

I only was able to watch bit and pieces, but boy that water at Bennett looked quite a bit shallower than it is now. Not sure if was just a low water year, but you can't stand in some of those places below the dam today and fish...you'd be under water.

I like the trout parks for what that they are. You just have to set your expectations. If I just want to hang out with friends and have a lazy day of relatively easy fishing and hanging out they are good for that. If I want to seriously fish I go elsewhere.
