Chief Grey Bear
I really enjoyed this film. It gives great insight into all of the exhausting work and great lengths the MDC employee's went to for our moments of enjoyment. I hope you all enjoy this. Daryk Campbell Sr
Very neat to get to see. I visited Roaring River's hatchery a couple of times, but both times it was not in the operating phase. We did get a very neat tour of inside the buildings at one of our tours. No one else showed up for the tour so or family got some one on one time. Its amazing that, back when the trout fishing was introduced in MO, the knowledge then was able to be used for our benefit. I worry that the young ones growing up today may not have the treasures we have, due to the way we handle politics, money, etc. Just think, this was started before the depression, and survived the depression, when money was REALLY hard to come by..... If it could be financed then, why not now....? ( I don't know if the fisheries at the trout parks are suffering yet, just seeing it happen everywhere else.) Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. Jason R.
No wonder those park trout just swim around in circles most o the time. That was cool except the scene where they are milking the trout... that was creepy. http://flyinthesouth.com/
