I just tried this new stuff :

FINAL%20TEAR%20LOGO.jpg

It is recommended for waders and seems to be holding up very well.

I used a boot dryer to dry the wader patch tape overnight to get a really good seal.

Been holding up quite well now.. 15 trips in and not a leak.

But what do you use ?

I have tried Aquaseal . the kit that comes with the waders.. years ago I tried duct tape.. but better is Gorilla tape.

(but I do not recommend either)

Tell us what you have used -- either successfully or unsuccessfully.

I use shoe goo. Take a tube to Alaska every year.

Yep, Shoe Goo. The trick is to only use a tiny bit of it. If you gob it on too thick it doesn't flex with the material. Just smear it on real thin with your finger.
