shockley32 Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 MO Panfisher, I've noticed they turned the water off on Pomme a couple of days ago, it's at 50, which I think is normal when not running water. I also noticed the three day forecast is not running any water. Just curious, why is the corps holding the lake at 841? I was hoping to see it back at normal pool soon. Thanks, Brad Have your visited Limitville lately?
Jerry Rapp Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 I would guess to keep some water in the bushes for the fry.
shockley32 Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 I thought that might be the case, however there isn't much water in the bushes right now. Guess it doesn't matter much, however the fishing is hot right now!!!! Brad Have your visited Limitville lately?
MOPanfisher Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Sorry I've been gone for a few days. Our Lake Level management plan has us with a target level of 841 from march 15 or so til June 15, then it drops to the "normal" of 839.0 That is an agreement with MDC for the benefit of the fisheries. sometimes Mother Nature works with us sometimes not. Right now she is not really leaning either way.
shockley32 Posted June 2, 2012 Author Posted June 2, 2012 Sounds great. Thanks for the response. Brad Have your visited Limitville lately?
