Was down at GWP this evening and from the time I put in til I came back at dark it came up a little at the ramp. The other day you have to back right to the edge of the concrete to launch.

We didn't get enough rain to day to make much of a difference unless up stream they got more than we got here.

The only good thing I can say about the low water is that it's keeping the jet ski crowd down in the lakes at GWP.

If you fish around the outlet of that marina just south of the new bridge they are building across the river with old 141 they are all over that place of the river. my dad catches em like mad on roadrunners down there in his kayak

Very interesting, SB. Nice fish. Kinda scary about the low water, especially when you think about all the recent years its been so flooded. It wasn't that long ago that it made national news for flooding out the exit ramps to I-44 and shutting down 141 almost completely.

I'm only about 3 miles from 141 bridge over Meramec and only a mile from Castlewood. Always assumed it was trash-fish water and more likely to hook a body than a fish. I would like to fish it sometime with you and get into some of those white bass or hybrids. Lets do it soon.

Cool. I have always overlooked the lower meramec and might have to hit it.
