Yep, went Saturday (6/16 Larry Gale area, sunrise to noon) caught one on a worm around back of dock, caught one on a crankbait on the end of a dock, and caught two off rocks on a spinnerbait. Very slow day with lots and lots of boats. Wish I could find a pattern.

There's several patterns working WELL right now, just pick one that suits the area and conditions best.....

Frogs and spooks around flooded grass.

Carolina rigging points and creek channel

Worming brushpiles.

Flipping shallow docks and wood.

Worming the condo lights at night. (Big worm/light weight ....bites on the fall).

Massive shad hatch going on, kentucky's gorging on schools of tiny dime size shad every evening.....they'd prolly bite rattle traps or small swimbaits.

Just get out there and you'll figure something out that'll work for ya.

thanks fellas, sounds like the worm and jig bite should be alright. i think i might give my gal a rod with a swimbait, she can do that.

Any new bass reports? Coming down for a tourney July 14th and only fished a couple hours last weekend with 2 keepers. Will be fishing midlake (35-50MM). Thanks!

Was down there (Grand Glaize arm near LORA) late last week, and despite 86 degree water temps, found penty of bass on the banks and off points in about 15 ft of water. Transition banks were productive. Lighty weighted 6/7" ribbontail plastic worms (watermellon and pumpkinseed). Going back middle of next week. Nothing over four lbs, but plenty of 15-17 inchers. i keep hoping that if we can avoid the 100 degree temps, that fishing will stabalize a little.

I went at night on Friday 11pm-1am and Saturday 8:30 -10:30pm. I didn't do too great, I had one keeper about 2.5 lbs on Friday on a jig, and my dad had a non-keeper on a shakey head, both out of brushpiles about 15-20' deep. Same basic pattern on Saturday, but I only landed one fish (non-keeper), and missed a few others. It wasn't the greatest, but night fishing is kind of relaxing (at least compared to the daytime).
