Feathers and Fins Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Whatever if you don't have any suggestions don't comment Ok no problem but dont expect much help from people with that attitude of yours, I tried making light of it the first time but 2 times kinda puts people off for future information. Mike puts out a great report, AGFC has on their website weekly fishing reports. And this site has a niffty lite search feature you can go back in history and check for what might have been a pattern for your area from years past. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 29, 2012 Root Admin Posted June 29, 2012 Whatever if you don't have any suggestions don't comment Scott, gotmuddy lives down in that area and would be your best contact for fishing there, next to Mike Worley who's a guide. I subscribe to a couple of rules when I post stuff: type - stew - type - delete - type and post. Usually keeps me out of trouble. You would have gotten a much better response if you'd held your "fingers" and simply ignored his comment. Now all you'll get is comments about your response. Wish I could help you on the fishing... Mike hasn't given us a report in a while. He must be pretty busy guiding. You might send him a PM.
mixermarkb Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 If by cook's marina you mean Theodosia Marina Resort, you can talk to Bryan at the doc. He can give you someplace to start, or better yet hire his dad Bob for a half day guide trip. If its your first trip to Bull, and you are looking for bass, I'd have a spinning rig with 6 pound floruocarbon ready for tubes and grubs, and baitcasters ready for football jigs, maybe carolina rigs, and worms in brush piles after dark. And you will get a better response if you are nice, both online and in person.
Members Col Ron Posted July 3, 2012 Members Posted July 3, 2012 Agree to all the comments, relax, most are just making a joke. Bottom line is, August temps in June = poor fishing..Period. I would suggest not wasting to much fuel, from the dam to Lead Hill, which I fish, it doesn't matter, fishing is difficult for walleyes. Something we can't control. Normally, June and July are good, not this year. The water is only going to get warmer. Col Ron www.colronguide.com
