jbtiwns30 Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 I'm new to the area and I wanna go catch some crappie with my two kids, they are 5 and 3, I wanna know wheres the best place to catch crappies and what are they biting on? I heard people say the best places to fish are ponds on farms but I dont know any farmers around the area yet so thats out of the question. I like to eat some fish but my kids and wife cant stand the taste of fish. Any info would be great, thanks!

jbtiwns30 Posted July 6, 2012 Author Posted July 6, 2012 i tried looking around on the web trying to find where this mc daniel lake or what ever it is. so please fill me in, i dont know alot of places around here. is it around springfield?
Members usmcgrunt Posted July 6, 2012 Members Posted July 6, 2012 Yes it's just north of Springfield. Take Glenstone north, turn left on Pleasant Valley Rd, make a right when the road comes to a T, take the first left and you're there. There's parking on both sides of the bridge, and no boats are allowed on the lake at all.
