I read that earlier on another site. Lung Flukes don't sound like a whole lot of fun.

Boil till red in a nice spice boil, cool and peel the tails. Take the tails and make a nice stir fry and serve over wild rice with a nice brew.

Serious question here, do people actually eat crawfish up here?

I've don't think I've ever actually met anyone who fished for and ate crawfish in Missouri...

Back around 1950 we started crawfishing at Ofallon park in north St louis. Have not caught my own in a long, long time easier to catch them at supermarket and I'm not sure how safe they might be anymore......nah I'm to lazy to catch them myself.......Some time I'll tell you why you should not ever put crawfish in a wooden nail barrel under your dad's workbench in the basement and forget to tell him.

Oh, same reason you don't leave a container full of chicken livers in daddy's tackle box for a week. ha. Had it done to me about a month ago.
