Addicted to Creeks Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Wow. Good on them for releasing that monster Fish always lose by being "got in and dressed." It is best to weigh them while they are in the water. The only really large one I ever caught got away with my leader when I first struck him. He weighed ten pounds. —Charles Dudley Warner
Wayne SW/MO Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 What a monster. They might have had to release it. The NW states have slot limits and BC might also. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
moguy1973 Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 What else are you going to do with a fish that size? -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 That was cool. Too bad they will not have the World Record, but good for them just the same. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)
Wayne SW/MO Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I tried to find a picture that was taken in Idaho that was of a sturgeon from the Snake and supposedly weighed 1500 lbs. It was on a wagon and I don't think there were ever any details. I couldn't find it however. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
