The boss and Mrs said I could go tomorrow! Be out around Aunts Creek if anyone is around. Mostly just going to work the boat but might try some of the ideas you posted! Thanks for the report!

Good to hear from ya T. Beck had 57 bass 6 Kittys, and a short Eye this morning on his trip. Most fish are coming 36 to 45 on the bottom.

We have been fishing crawlers, but you can also catch them on a dropshot worm or a spoon. Not as good, but you can still get bit pretty good. Especially on the Walleye, they are just hammering a spoon on the steeper stuff and have been hanging pretty close to the channel drops on the runnouts.

Point 5 to point 12 have been really good. Don't know about your jig bite, but I'm sure we will after you go, as I would think you will have a hard time not throwing it.

Threw the jig! Caught nothing on it but was smiling the whole time. I was sure after reading the reports on here we wouldn't do well with it but tried a few deeper docks anyway. It was a bit breezy out and I am out of practice but hooked a small K dragging a C-rig with a fish doctor across a point. We went back to that spot with a drop shot and caught three more little Ks at about 45 feet. It seems they were off the bottom about five feet as we had to reel up abit to get bit. I am not sure why they bit the C-rig on bottom then we had to reel up with the drop shot?

We would have caught a few more as we were getting hit....think I lost the feel and need more practice. I have two photos on the new Iphone and will try to get them posted but nothing to brag about as they were around 10-12".

The little Skeeter is still hummin and I missed her.

After reading Bill's great report I decided to visit Table Rock for the first time since June and had a pretty good day doing a variety of things around the Baxter area. Started off fishing timber on bluff ends with a spoon in the 25-40 range (a lot of fish in the 28-30 range) like Bill had reported and caught several spots including 2 fat keepers. Then picked up a drop shot (which I never do) and caught several more doing that including 4 fat keeper spots. Around 4 I decided to see if I could catch some burning a blade in the outside cedars and managed to catch 2 decent keepers doing that but only had 3 bites in 2 hours. Finished the day cranking points and caught several small ones but did catch a couple solid keepers. Nice to get back down there and thank you Bill for the report!
