Depends...usually some meat, cheese, maybe an apple if its just me...Overnight trip meals can be fairly elaborate...Crawfish boil for 20 etc....but these days I smoke meat ahead of time...and warm it up...or make a big pot of gumbo if I have to feed a bunch.

Where do you find Sierra Nevada in a can??? Not that Keystone is bad but S N is way better.

The only place in SWMO I've seen it in cans was the main Brown Derby in Springfield. The best Pale Ale I've ever had - good enough to rob, cheat, or steal to get.

You may have to ask or special order it - it's been a while since I've been up there.

Today I stopped at the White Oak station in rogers.

I packed a turkey sandwich (they make em good), 2 apples, a gourmet cookie, bag of kettle chips.

2 mini cokes, 4 waters, and 1 big gatorade.

That was more than enough for 5 hours of fishing.

Picked this idea up from TrophyFishR for non-camping non-shore lunch type trips. My favorite float trip snack is a Walmart rotissery chicken shreaded by hand into a tupperware container. High protein and tasty, even when cold. Other than that, I like to take some mountain trail mix (the one with nuts and M&M's) and a couple of Cliff bars.

Yeah, I thought about the rotissery chicken & tupperware.

Hoglaw, have you been fishing lately?

I know you gotta rebuilt knee, my backs all bent up but I took my dad anyway.

PB and honey is not to bad once in awhile.

This is my absolute favorite for deer hunting...

I like the crunchy texture on the bread when the honey hardens

Sounds more like 5 hours of eating and drinking.

Mendocino Brewery was one of my favorites! Lost Coast, Bear Republic and Eel River as well.

My buddy and I almost always take a bunch fo wraps with us. My favorite is cheese, ham, egg, mayo, and spicy mustard. We throw them in the cooler an they are quite good chilled. You have unlimited options as to what you can make and they are easy to transport. Usually have banana's, chips, and gatorade on hand as well.

For overnight trips or extended weekends we almost always throw in some big Ribeye's from Sam's, baked beans, grilled veggies, and some potato salad.
