Members nwmohunter Posted August 27, 2012 Members Posted August 27, 2012 Planning on fishing friday-monday. How bad will boat traffic be and if I get up the white river will it not be as bad? I fish LOZ alot and am used to that pressure somewhat.

Quillback Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Depends how far up the White you're talking, if it's around Big M you can expect a lot of company.
rps Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 6 AM to 10:30 AM and 6:30 PM to dark should be ok. If you are thinking above Eagle Rock, be aware the water is getting skinny up here.
Members nwmohunter Posted August 27, 2012 Author Members Posted August 27, 2012 What about the James?? or I guess my real question is will there be any place of relief?
magicwormman Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I would fish from dawn to 10 A.M. from pt. 10 to pt. 13 on the James or pt. 9 to pt. 16 on the white. Unless you like to fish after dark, this will be your best bet. Read all the latest reports and you should catch fish.
Chris King Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 With all the rain coming this week/weekend, think the fish will come up shallow or find some running water once it starts to rise?
Members op79 Posted August 28, 2012 Members Posted August 28, 2012 Decided to beat the traffic and went today big M at dawn surface temp 79 top water soon as the sun popped up id catch a few and move down river point to point drop shot was the most productive only one on spoon seems its still game on for now 1Lm 2 Sm 17ks no eyes the sunshine put them back in play
rps Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 We had a brief, hard rain Sunday. The ground sucked it up and the creeks are still empty. For flow into the lake to happen, we will need several days of rain.
