Chief Grey Bear Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 And how many towns also have laws against posting flyers on utility poles? Yet you still see them. If you think that ordinance put a complete stop to the placement of flyers on vehicles under the guise of litter enforcement, it is not I that needs to remove a cranium from the anal orifice. Had these been flyers for veteran parade would you still be this vocal? Honestly?? Flysmallie Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 See you still cant think logically. You really should go into politics. You would be perfect. I'm done with it if you can't figure out what I'm saying, let's just go fishing.
exiledguide Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 No we wouldn't. Nobody would have said a word. And you and JD wouldn't have either. Not a peep out of me either. I think he said it was an uphill battle and probably not winable. No sense in wasting money. I could care less if the kkk ceased to exist at this moment. My only point is we have to afford the same freedoms to all individuals and groups whether we agree with them or their message. Its the same with flyfishermen. They should be outlawed! They do nothing but hog all the good holes. Play fish to near death to make sure everyone sees them. Have funny names for equipment just to be different. Like bobbers or all of this 6X and 7X crap. Dress in the nuttiest outfits that make them feel like they are....like they are...hell I don't know waht they think. Fly fisherman don't murder people.
Chief Grey Bear Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I understand exactly what you are saying. We just have differing opinions. How is the James looking now?? Haven't fished it in a couple of months. exiledguide Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 It was comedic satire. I understand chief. It's only that I am of a different generation and growing up I saw things that I can't foreget and no kid should ever have to see again. As far as the James my leg and back problems and the lack of water have kept me out all summer, I think looking at the flow charts it should be in good shape and I was planning on going this week but now I got a problem with my left foot so....................

And I react accordingly. Just as the Christians hate the Atheist and the Atheist hate the Christians, they still, in my mind, and according to the Constitution, still have to tolerate each others right to say so. If that makes any sense. The best thing to do is ignore them. Don't give them an audience to spread their message of hate. jdmidwest Posted September 30, 2012 Author Posted September 30, 2012 Actually the KKK was born out of the Democratic Party after the Civil War. They have roots in Southern Christianity. They are not the skinheads or the white supremacists, they tend to be more educated and proper and keep their organization on the down low. I think there is a big chapter near Sullivan. Spent some time in Cape after all today, did not see a flyer anywhere. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
jdmidwest Posted October 5, 2012 Author Posted October 5, 2012 Way to go ACLU. What happened to protection of my personal property? What will happen when I show up and my wiper is tore off by some idiot that wants to spread his message? I call BS on this one. The city of Cape Girardeau loses on a law that has been in place for many years. The city claims it was due to litter, but I always felt it was to prevent damage to other's personal property. And the city has to pay the legal fees to the ACLU. Anyone see anything wrong with this? http://www.semissourian.com/story/1900605.html "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
Chief Grey Bear Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Well I do find it a little ironic that are usually blamed for only helping the black man. Couldn't get any more 180 than that. Maybe you should contact them and see what they can do for you. Wouldn't that be a hoot if they took your case.
