Anyone else started using fall crank baits? I had a good Evening on Stockton on Thursday and wanted to make sure it was not a fluke.

Though they are not my favorite baits, I have been using them for a few weeks and they have been working for me.

Once i get back out on the water (hopefully in a couple of weeks) I plan on throwing some around. Reports are that people are getting some fish on cranks.

They just are more effective when the water temps are about 55 degrees

I like to fish them. Other than a wiggle wart cranks don't work well for me on table rock. Stockton and Pomme are different stories. I think with some wind Stockton should start to produce a nice mix bag on windy points with medium shad colored cranks.
