ozarkgunner Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Anyone else started using fall crank baits? I had a good Evening on Stockton on Thursday and wanted to make sure it was not a fluke. Angler At Law
Dutch Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Though they are not my favorite baits, I have been using them for a few weeks and they have been working for me.
Quillback Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Once i get back out on the water (hopefully in a couple of weeks) I plan on throwing some around. Reports are that people are getting some fish on cranks.
Mitch f Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 They just are more effective when the water temps are about 55 degrees "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
cwc87 Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 They are biting cranks in the rivers I will agree!!
ozarkgunner Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 I like to fish them. Other than a wiggle wart cranks don't work well for me on table rock. Stockton and Pomme are different stories. I think with some wind Stockton should start to produce a nice mix bag on windy points with medium shad colored cranks. Angler At Law
E Green Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 did pretty good yesterday with several crankbaits on a smaller stream in southeastern MO ozarks in butler county.
Members Brook Brown Posted September 24, 2012 Members Posted September 24, 2012 Fishing on the White between Calico Rock and Mt. View week after next. What crank baits do you recommend for this stretch of river? Thank you.
