Quillback Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Cloudy, cool, light wind - looks like a good morning for topwaters, anyone throw them this morning? I can't get out today, but it sure looks good for fishing.
ryan Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Fished yesterday and destroyed them on a blade and a squarebill. Oh how I love fall!!!!! I imagine they would have eaten on top.

Kee sims Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Threw a jitterbug and had some blow ups as well as some jerk bait with about a 3-4 twitch with 5 second pause seemed to do the trick

Quillback Posted September 17, 2012 Author Posted September 17, 2012 Sounds like some good fishing out there, I hope I can get out later this week.
shark bait Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 I threw a buzz bait this weekend and caught a bunch. Had one keeper on it. Then threw a spinner bait and caught a bunch for a while with one keeper then switched to jig with a craw. I caught a bunch on it with one keeper. Also threw a texas rigged senko, caught a bunch but no keepers. All were caught off of chunk rock banks. Becky B
Tfsh4bass Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Fished Sunday and didn't need to drop shot this time even though I messed with a few pods I came across...blade and swimbait fish pretty consistent from 12-6 and caught some good ones. Fished around Indian and mostly back end pocket fish but caught a few on secondary points.
