Etiquette On Fishing During A Tournament

Guys it's all about trying to live as a Christian example. Sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's not. If you hunt or fish public land/water which I do you run into all sorts of people. I'm an avid tournament fisherman and duck hunter so I have encountered a number of different situations in which someone has come right in on top of me and ruined that spot for the time being. I always tell myself that being a Christian is my first priority, killing ducks or catching a 20lb sack is far from number one in the grand scheme of things. There are plenty of spots on the lake where big bass live, plenty of spots where the ducks are using. We can't trade one wrong action for another. I'm not gonna cuss anyone out or threaten to beat them up for getting a little too close to me.(although I might feel like it). It's true, kindness kills. The right thing is seldome the easy thing but being a Christian is 10% about how you act and 90% about how you react. I wanna be a fisher of men instead of just fish. If you see me catching em and come in right on top of me, I'll just say hello and tell you what they are biting on. Then I'll start up the boat and head to another spot where an even bigger sack is waiting to be caught!

You tournament dudes and your phony etiquette concerns! It's flippin' war out there, boys! Etiquette doesn't even enter into my thinking -- ever. When I'm on the tournament trail, anything goes. Some local putz who's not even competing? Screw him! I'm trying to make a buck and/or win, dammit! Clearly I've got priority over some numbskull just out with his kid/grandkid trying to catch a fish or two and create a 'memorable moment'. Cripes -- teach that punk how to win! And stay the hell outta my way! I can't beleive I've even got to explain this to you idiots.

First fall you prick if i am sitting on fish then me and my kids did better then your stupid butt and found fish take your attitude on down the lake and don't ruin my kids outlook on fishermen move to where you think you and your education and experience should tell you where the winning fish are or ask my 6 and 7 year old who obviously can out fish your butt any day where the fish are because they and my self have every right to all the lake and we do our homework and have fun we make a living the American way and fishing is a sport not a job you stupid excuse for a role model O.P and family
