Missed an oppertunity on some Cans yesterday, Had some guys comming at me in blaze orange and a small boat that flared them out. Tomorrow its going to be on though Chris, You should come on over.

I need to do that soon before the season ends. Have you been seeing any of the rebounded population of scaup? I think I'm going to burn up dirt roads tomorrow. Marty has me worked into a lather with these stories of green and yellow he's been telling me about on the phone. I think it's time. I've been watching a little flock of the green headed corn grinders jump back and forth from a cornfield all morning long down here by work. I need to go find some.

Ive seen plenty of the scaup this year, even saw a raft of about 5000 on the big muddy Sunday and what really is suprising was seen large flocks on small slews down home. Pintail numbers are way higher than what they said I can promise you that had one res pond that was covered in them my guess would be 8 to 10 thousand just on it and all the rice fields had more pinnies than skeeters for a change. This front finaly brought in birds. Marty has a tendancy to make peoples mouths water lol.

I can say this I am tired of killing geese though we hammered them on the farm all through the christmas break, limits on Specks and Snows, I swore I wouldnt do that to snows again but hey we had plenty of kids for cleaning duty so all the big kids had to do was shoot them lmao.

Found some birds on Lower Taney Today. Got to hunt with my brother and a couple of buddies. Looking forward to hitting it again in the morning. Way better than the Rock has been treating us.

Nice mess of birds there DD. Bull shoals has turned around as well actually seeing a few ducks got some located just need to be able to get out after them.

We saw fewer ducks today, but enough to keep us very well entertained. Hope the snow stays on the ground all night. Time to pull out the Tyvek suits!

Well sat out at Beaver this evening till Dark, the hunt will be postponed till a little later in the day no doubt the roads will be dangerous in the morning so we will wait till 8am to go. I do not think it will matter though saw plenty of birds coming in from the North this evening adding to the rafts already on the water. They were large flocks coming in from HIGH.

Looks like at least a few days of real good gunning ahead. The long lines are loaded.
