Quillback Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Just got an email from Basstackledepot.com, 25% off through tomorrow.
ciRe Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I've never ordered bass tackle online. I guess because if I run to basspro I get everything at employee price. Basspro = 40% off. This includes anything that has their logo even if another company makes it. A lot of other stuff is from 15-30% off. Gotta love friends in upper management. I even get guns at cost for most makes.

Mitch f Posted January 1, 2013 Author Posted January 1, 2013 Funny Bass Pro story. A few years back I was in the process of selling Tracker Marine 100K worth of laser scanning equipment to help design their new hulls. It was down to me and my main competitor. I was trying to connect a little with the buyer and the plant manager, so I told them that I was a fisherman, thinking it would strike up a conversation. Well, the first thing they asked was what brand of boat do I have. Uh Oh, I told them it was an Xpress...they both looked at the floor. Yikes, I then told them the boat was given to me for services rendered at the Xpress factory. Well, I won the order anyway "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

drew03cmc Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Mitch, what kind of services rendered does it take to receive a dam boat? Andy
Mitch f Posted January 1, 2013 Author Posted January 1, 2013 Mitch, what kind of services rendered does it take to receive a dam boat? I scanned some hulls for them, they gave me the boat and trailer, had to pay for the motor and mounting, but I got it at their cost. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
