BilletHead Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Ok another one to try. We like asain food and I know Duckydoty does an asain theme on his waterfowl from time to time. I read Chi Wulff's site and there is always a Friday Feast recipie. Today it was our Sunday feast to try it. http://chiwulff.com/2013/01/04/chi-wulffs-friday-feast-4-january-grilled-sesame-beef-wraps/ Next time it will be made with canada goose. It mentioned using a dipping sauce and this is what we used. http://www.food.com/recipe/Korean-Dipping-Sauce-278629 We did not have the hot pepper paste but did substitute sriracha hot chili sauce for that. Sorry no pictures of the plate we just dug in. Oh My it was good and the BilletHeads give it a two thumbs up! duckydoty Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Sounds good. I think we are having duck fajitas tonight. Already looking forward to it. I gave 6 ducks to a friend of mine. He is originally from Guatamala. He made home-made tamales out of them and said it was fantastic. You'd think I would have got to try one???LOL! jdmidwest Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Coot Chili is a favorite. After a few days of watching them, you have to plow a shot into them to control the population. Breast them and chunk the meat up. Toss it into your favorite chili recipe and help control the population. You will never realize it was a green footed water walker to start with. Next obstacle, Shovelers, Any "good" recipes? Since most local MDC farms grow cockleburs, the shovelers are the prime foragers. You can hear them pass with the choking noises they make on the burs. There are a bunch of them on our flyway. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
