LittleRedFisherman Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I bet somebody on here can tell me what this is. This was attached to the gills of this Bass I caught last Friday, Brian didn't know what it was either, it appeared to be like a tape worm of some sort.. There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
jdmidwest Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I can't see the video on dialup, but you are describing a lamprey. I am not sure of them in the 11pt watershed, but I guess it is possible. cullinby9 Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I've seen lamphrie's in the 11 point thats not what that was. Was it organic material or plastic? it kinda looked like a gulp that was biodegrading
Feathers and Fins Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Looks like a Gulp to me, seen a few cats with them in them that looked like that, but its hard to tell without a close up https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
LittleRedFisherman Posted January 25, 2013 Author Posted January 25, 2013 Could be an old Gulp, or Aliens....I love it...lol. The Gulp idea makes sense, Brian is the one that got to handle it, I think he beleived it was something alive, wish I had looked at it closer, but the way it stretched, it was just like a soft plastic. There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
gotmuddy Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 I will belt on gulp. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
