Ham Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Tough time of year for your first BSL trip. I'd probably try jerkbaits, football jigs, jigging spoons, swimming a 4 inch grub, a rigs, and MAYBE warts. I'm still just beginning to learn BSL though. Dutch Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 That far down I imagine you will find very clear water in the low 40s. We had a few on grubs with the best one 4-5# fishing the upper part. They were on grubs in about 20-25 fow. Never got to the A rig or jerk baits.
Wayne SW/MO Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 The lake is very, low so be careful when running. Don't depend on buoys. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
